The PV-ESS-Charging R&D Director Salon was successfully held at BPI Battery Co., Ltd.

On the afternoon of December 13th, the salon took place in the conference room of BPI Battery Co., Ltd. near Shenzhen North Railway Station. Organized by the Global Sources EIMS Project Team and hosted by BPI, the event brought together representatives of international buyers, R&D directors, founders of enterprises in the photovoltaic, energy storage and charging pile sectors, as well as core players across the industrial chain. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on the technological trends and market opportunities of the PV-ESS-charging industry.

Prior to the salon, distinguished guests arrived at BPI one after another and toured the corporate exhibition hall. Through on-site explanations and exchanges, the guests gained a vivid and intuitive understanding of BPI’s comprehensive strength in new energy battery R&D, manufacturing systems, quality control and application scenarios. Led by Mr. Liu, BPI’s senior executive, they also deeply experienced the thorough implementation of corporate culture in every corner of BPI’s headquarters.
The salon officially commenced at 14:00.

Mr. Si Qingbin, a senior industry expert of Global Sources Supply Chain and Business Director of the EIMS Project, presided over the event. He extended a warm welcome to all attendees and elaborated on the communication background and core objectives of the salon.

In the corporate sharing session, Mr. Long Xiang, Chairman of BPI, systematically elaborated on BPI’s development journey and core strengths, with a focus on the corporate culture, as well as the company’s technological accumulation, manufacturing experience in the new energy battery sector and insights into international market demands.
Mr. Long Xiang stated that in the face of the ever-changing international market environment, only by adhering to in-depth technological research, stable quality and reliable manufacturing can enterprises truly achieve long-term cooperation and sustainable development.

Subsequently, representatives of participating enterprises introduced themselves and shared practical demands and challenges in energy storage, photovoltaic and charging applications based on their own business practices.
In the international buyer sharing session, guests from overseas markets, from the perspective of project application, highlighted the core international market requirements for products in terms of performance, safety, certification systems and delivery capacity, providing valuable first-hand market feedback for domestic enterprises.

Meanwhile, representatives from energy storage manufacturers and industrial chain enterprises shared experiences on topics such as production line matching, system coordination and solution commercialization.
In the roundtable technical exchange session, attendees conducted in-depth discussions on the development trend of solid-state batteries, international trade opportunities and the direction of new products and technologies. Exchanges from different roles and perspectives sparked numerous pragmatic and forward-looking insights on site.

For specific application scenarios, simplified solutions with battery cells as the core and more streamlined system architecture are emerging as a potential trend.

This trend places higher demands on battery cells in terms of consistency, safety and long-term stability, and also poses new challenges to the technological capabilities and quality control systems of battery cell manufacturers.

Against the current industry backdrop, the development of the PV-ESS-charging industry cannot be separated from market insights, technological accumulation and industrial chain collaboration. Such a platform for face-to-face, in-depth communication is an important driver for the high-quality development of the industry.
As the host of this salon, BPI has always adhered to technology as the core and manufacturing as the foundation, and continuously provides stable and reliable new energy battery products and solutions for global customers.
